Closed circuit television camera images may be processed in many ways depending on the system application. With the use of a multiplexer a number of camera images may be recorded onto a single video-tape or hard disk simultaneously regardless of displayed monitor image.

DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) as a combined multiplexer and digital recording device provide further advantages in both image management and quality.  Fast image retrieval is a major feature with search facility on date and time, alarm activity, movement detection and data-field content.  Replay of stored images may take place simultaneously without interruption of live recording, and the operator benefits also with not having to change video-tapes on a daily basis.

By connecting DVRs to LAN/WAN, they will allow viewing of camera images over the network. Authorized people can login with a user name and password to monitor the cameras or to review the recorded video on a DVR’s hard-disk. Remote monitoring via image transmission, may allow a dedicated control room to be alerted when movement is detected and instruct appropriate action.

Movement detection may be set up on each camera input to trigger local or remote alarms.  In addition to movement detection, masking may be enabled to switch off detection in constantly changing areas of an image, such as swaying trees, or traffic on a main road in the background, allowing motion detection only to highlight strategic areas.

Nashita designs and develops especial control desks for professional security and command systems. The desk will initially be designed in 3D modeling and after client’s approval, it will be custom made for the client. All the equipment will be embedded inside the desk so that operators would have full dominance over the controlling equipment.
